I had a logitech keyboard and mouse combo (cordless internet pro)... since this wasnt enough for gaming.. i recently bought a microsoft mouse (wireless laser 6000).. now i hav two receivers (both usb).. the problem is that i can only use one at a time.. if im entering something in the keyboard the mouse does not respond.. this is very irritating.. specially when u need to sidestep as u shoot in games.. i have win vista (home premium).. c2d e6750 (2.66ghz) processor and 2 gb 800mhz ram.. and an intel motherboard...

Have you synced both devices by pressing the connect button on the receiver and then the tiny connect button on the mouse and keyboard?

I've tested using a Microsoft keyboard receiver and a serperate Microsoft mouse receiver that they will slightly interfere with each other. In a simple side scroller, I hold the right key, the character moves and once I start moving the mouse the character will stop moving.

Then I used "Microsoft Optical Desktop Reciever 3.0A" and encountered no problems
