Excellent Torque Wrench Outsourcing From The Biggest Hand Tool Maker In Italy

In 2000, Pan Taiwan started to work with OMERSUB SPA, the largest producer of freediving and spearfishing equipment in the world. Pan Taiwan's outsourcing services to OMERSUB SPA include diving whistles, spear guns and diving breath valves' plastic injection, die casting, assembling, to shipping. In 2002, because of Pan Taiwan's solid coutsourcing reputation, they reached the biggest Italian hand tool company using OMERSUB SPA as a referral. The hand tool company asked for a quote regarding their torque wrench.

Outsourcing Requirements From The Biggest Italian Hand Tool Company

This leading hand tools Italian company since early sixties acquired their outsourcing of torque wrenches to meet their high standard requirements. They asked for a European lab and DYNA tester report for each torque wrench provided by their OEM manufacturer. The selected outsourcing manufacturers should have the capabilities for their irregular purchasing and every step is processed based on ISO quality system management. QS9000 technique is applied for FMEA and assembly process design.

After a torque wrench sample product was provided by the buyer, Pan Taiwan and selected outsourcing suppliers flew to Italy to gain an in-depth understanding of the production process and test requirements from them. Meanwhile, Pan Taiwan's technical support team was surveying qualified outsourcing manufacturers and labs. The FMEA system was implemented with the technical support team to improve the design quality and reliability.Reverse engineering was engaged to achieve buyer's goals - every single component was sketched, re-designed, the material was confirmed and a mock-up product was provided with detailed reports. Since torque wrenches require a beam load cell test report from a European lab, Pan Taiwan customized the test process from outsourcing manufacturer and ensured each torque wrench was tested by a computerized automatic testing machine and manual testing machine from DYNA TESETER for its accuracy. Because one of the components was imported from the hand tool company, Pan Taiwan also supervised the custom and tax issues. During mould development, reports were constantly provided by Pan Taiwan to the buyer for their trust, and several meetings were held between the oursourcing manufacturers.

Subsequently, after one year of frequent consultation, negotiation and verification, production started in 2004's first season with a small quantity. By the end of 2004, the torque wrench's mass production began.

The hand tool company's supervisors came to Taiwan to ensure the product quality. Every year, Pan Taiwanreceived a high evaluation score from them, and it also benefited Pan Taiwan a great amount of income. Currently, Pan Taiwan is still their appointed torque wrench outsourcing and manufacturing partner ,and they also had helped them with another tool's development and it's been receiving regular orders since then.

In 2008, Pan Taiwan obtained their new product development contract. It was a product which integrated electronic and traditional industries. The product was developed in half a year and currently is in the mass production stage.
